Booking Information

Payment & Booking

  • The price on the tariff page is for use of the cottage ONLY (i.e. the annex is not included). The cottage comfortably sleeps 11 but 14 can be accommodated depending on the bed arrangements.
  • If you would like to include the annex this is an additional £120. The annex is a self contained unit 5 metres from the main cottage. It has a shower room, kitchenette, seating and sleeping areas. It comfortably sleeps 2, but can sleep upto 4.
  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is usually requested to secure your booking. Deposits must be paid within one week of an agreement to go ahead with the booking. If the deposit is not received within this time frame, the dates will be made available and could be re-booked.
  • The balance is requested 4-6 weeks before your stay. If the balance payment is not received by 4 weeks before your stay the weekend will be made available and could be re-booked.
  • Our preferred method of payment is electronic banking, but we also take cheques.
  • In line with most self catering properties we have a minimum number of nights that make rental of the property viable. Although you are welcome to stay for a period shorter than our minimum we would not be able to reduce the price and would therefore be grateful if you did not request this.
  • One or two, well behaved, none 'chewy' dogs are very welcome at a cost of £35 per dog, to cover any additional cleaning required.
  • Two person discounts are available in low season. Please ask for details.
  • We can provisionally book specific dates for one or two weeks whilst you contact everyone.
  • We generally do not take a damage deposit as this has not been necessary. However, due to recent events we now need to take a damage deposit for groups with young children and/or for those staying for five days or more. Any additional housekeeping to the 12 man hours that is included in the price of your stay will be deducted from the damage deposit along with any breakages. Where a damage deposit is not taken any housekeeping needed over the 12 man hours will need to be paid for retrospectively as will any breakages.
  • We consult with you before your stay as to how you would like the rooms arranged e.g. whether you would like the zip-linked beds as two singles or as adouble and whether you would like sofa beds and/or put-u-ups made up etc.We have slept as many as 18 in separate beds with out using the lounge sofa bed, so we should be able to accommodate most groups and try to arrange individual beds for every one (if this is needed).
  •  Please read the Terms & Conditions page before booking.

Check-in/Check out

  • Check-in from 4pm on your day of arrival
  • Check-out by 10am on your day of departure
If you would like to arrive earlier or leave later, please do ask and we will do our best to accommodate your request when we don't have another group leaving or arriving on the same day. However, where we have a same day change over, we will need up to 6 hours between guests to prepare the cottage to the high standards we achieve and you will expect.
