‘Working in business myself, I know what a difference the venue can make to the productivity of a meeting. At West View Cottage we offer something very different to the boardroom or a hotel meeting room; Boardrooms tend to be stark and functional and although easy to access, delegates' concentration is often torn between the topic of the meeting and what is going on in the office; Instead of relaxing and building relationships in breaks we tend to nip back to our desks, check a few emails and return un-refreshed and maybe a little distracted. Hotel meeting rooms certainly have a place in that they get us off site and away from the distractions of the office but are by their nature structured and inflexible and often very expensive for the facilities they offer. West View Cottage, we don't claim to be able to offer the facilities of a large hotel, but we can offer the essentials free of charge such as wireless (or wired) broadband, infrared accessible laser printer/copier/scanner, white boards/flip chart etc. but importantly this is provided to you in spacious, light and beautifully presented surroundings. We can also offer well appointed boutique quality overnight accommodation for colleagues that need it and all at a fraction of the cost of a hotel.'
Meeting Facilities
Our beautifully appointed dining room can accommodate up to 14 seated delegates. Just across from the dining room is the open beamed office area with laptop, free WiFi and an infrared printer/scanner/copier. We can also provide white board and flip charts if requested, all free of charge.
Within the dining room and kitchen are tea and coffee making facilities, however, staff can be arranged to provide catering services through out the day and evening if this is required.
Our annex, just five metres from the cottage, can be used either as a sixth bedroom (with en-suite facilities), a break out room (with soft seating), boardroom style for upto 16 or as a theatre style meeting room with up to 25 seats.
Day Meeting Rates
Prices for day time meetings with use of the living accommodation and grounds (no overnight accommodation). These day rates include use of the living accommodation between 8am and 6pm unless otherwise agreed. We may be able to extend the time into the evening depending on requirements and availability.

Overnight Accommodation
Prices for mid week bookings of the entire cottage and bedrooms. Overnight accommodation is available in five/six double or twin bedrooms of a boutique hotel standard. There are five bathroom or shower rooms in total and three of these are en-suite. A daily maid can be included at additional cost. Check in is from 4pm on your day of arrival and check out is by10am on your departure day (unless stated otherwise or agreed separately).
