Just a quick email to say thank you very much for the use of the cottage for our half term holiday. Everyone was over the moon with it. The "boys (men)" loved the nearness of Duxford. Our parents enjoyed the quietness.

My children loved the outdoor games. I loved the cooker! I do hope we left everything as we found it; and left nothing behind but our thanks. It is a real treasure you have there!

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that all of us had a brilliant time at the cottage over the weekend - it really is even better than I could have hoped. We had some lovely meals in the dining room and had an excellent Sunday when the beauticians came over to do all our treatments.

I can't think of anything you could do to make the cottage better - it really was perfect and had everything we needed.

Thanks again, I'm sure we'll be back soon - it's my Hen Do next year so you never know..!

It went really well on Saturday.

Every one sat round the dining room table (I put paper down first!) and painted a breakfast set for the bride and groom. They picked 4 colours to use and the theme of spots. People seemed to really enjoy the painting and created some lovely designs. One person arrived later in the afternoon and was surprised how quiet everyone was! I think they had had a busy day punting, treasure hunt etc. in Cambridge, so it was a relaxing part of the weekend for them to paint, drink tea and chat. I stayed for about 2 hours. One of the girl’s friends plans to pick up the fired items next Saturday.

Your cottage looked really lovely and the girls were impressed. I left some leaflets on the desk.

I have my next party booked there in May

Just to let you know that we are now back at home.

We have enjoyed another lovely week in your beautiful cottage. The weather was very kind to us again so we were able to go on long walks with the dogs and then come back and relax.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you on behalf of myself and the rest of the group that stayed at the cottage this weekend. We all had a fabulous time and the cottage itself was fantastic - better than we could ever have hoped for. We were really impressed with how well equipped it was and the little touches (such as the Christmas decorations, festive loo roll etc) were just the icing on the cake.

I am sure we will be looking to hire the cottage again at some point in the near future.

Just wanted to say Thank you so much for a very pleasant, comfortable & enjoyable stay in your lovely cottage. We would thoroughly recommend West View Cottage to any groups it is ideal.

Your directions are very accurate & simple to follow, the property itself was warm & welcoming, clean & tidy & so well stocked, as for the trampoline, gym & karaoke machine - fantastic added extras!

The only thing not big enough was the recycle bin - very embarrassing how many bottle, cans & tins we left for your poor housekeeper to put out!!!!

Hiya Jane,

I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for providing a beautiful
cottage, with excellent facilities, for our party this weekend. But I
also wanted to tell you how much I appreciated Diane, your Houskeeper's help and kindness
this morning.

As she probably told you, my partner (who had done a lot of the
organising for the weekend, and in particular had done all the packing
for bringing stuff to the cottage) was very ill this morning. This meant
a pretty stressful time getting out of the house for 10am (as the brains
of the operation was chained to the bathroom!) and then a lot of doubt
as to how we were to manage going out for a picnic and getting the group
home when she wasn't yet well enough to travel.

Diane made life much more bearable by allowing us use of a bathroom
until we left and even offered us a bedroom for my partner to lie down
in! And she also allowed our group to relax outside the cottage and have
lunch around the picnic table until my partner felt well enough to
travel. We left at 1pm, which I realise must have been very late to get
rid of guests, and I hope this didn't make things difficult for her. Her
thoughtfulness really made all the difference.

We are now safely home after a wonderful weekend. Thank you again, and I
hope we have a reason to stay in the cottage again!
