We receive many comments on how lovely the cottage is, as you can see from our 'Guest Comments' page. However, you can make up your own mind by clicking on our Video Link to the left of this page. We generally sleep between 10 and 14 adults but have slept as many as 18! With zip linked beds, we can also offer the flexibility of double or twin beds, so you can all have individual beds if that is what is required. There are five large bedrooms in the main house and the self contained annex, just five metres from the main house, can be used as a further bedroom or a break-out room with the bed folded away. We accept children of all ages who love the freedom of the enclosed and private front and rear gardens and we also accept pets with prior permission.

• The Lounge of West View Cottage has an inglenook style fireplace with a gas log burning stove, lots of comfortable seating, a 30" plasma television with satellite TV channels, DVD and video. There is also a small library of films and CDs to play on the hifi. Plus a Karaoke machine for those considering the X Factor! One of the sofa's is also a very good quality sofa bed if an extra room is needed for sleeping.
• The Farmhouse style Kitchen of West View Cottage is fully equipped with a large range oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Laundry facilities include a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board.
• The Dining Room of West View Cottage is an attractive room with a table large enough to seat up to 14 comfortably for an elegant dinner party or meeting. Patio doors lead into the enclosed private garden, with barbecue and a large garden table.
• The Study area with in the main hall way provides a computer and WIRELESS BROADBAND connection so you can keep in touch during your stay.
• The Bedrooms: There are five double/triple bedrooms and four shower/bathrooms in the main house. Two bathrooms are en-suite. Most bedrooms can accommodate an extra put-u-up if needed.
• The Annex is just 5 metres from the main house and is a self-contained unit with a shower room and kitchenette. There is a sofa bed, arm chair and fold away double bed (if the annex needs to be cleared for use as an office or break out room). If there are 12 or more staying at the cottage the annex is automatically included, but can be included with less with prior arrangement.

WEST VIEW COTTAGE is only 14 miles (20 mins drive) from Cambridge City Centre and Newmarket is approximately 18 miles away (30 mins drive) and provides an ideal alternative to a B&B or hotel rooms, where you, your family, friends and work colleagues can enjoy getting together under one roof. We are happy to accept children and well behaved dogs.
